Joint Press Release for the Entry into Force of the MERCOSUR-Singapore Free Trade Agreement between Singapore and Argentina

The MERCOSUR-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (MCSFTA) entered into force between Singapore and Argentina today. The Agreement had previously entered into force between Singapore and Paraguay, Uruguay and Brazil. With its entry into force for Argentina, the MCSFTA is now fully in force between Singapore and all four founding MERCOSUR Member States, representing a significant milestone in Singapore’s economic engagement with Latin America.
